NEVER RENT FROM HERE. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a car rental company. Starting out with we had to wait over 30 minutes for a shuttle to come pick us up. I called several times and the 1 time they picked they said they have no idea when it would get here. Then the car they gave us died. I paid through Priceline, but the car rental place billed me again. A rock hit the windshield and they wouldn't give me the information to submit it to the insurance that I bought through Priceline. Instead they billed my credit card again.
Rented a car from here earlier this year when the battery died. I called several different numbers and no one answered. I had to buy a car battery charger just to drop off the car. When I dropped the car off the next day, I was told I'd be refunded for the charger, the rental car itself, and the Ubers to pick up the charger. It's been over two months now and they refuse to reimburse me.
Rating: -100/10 Absolutely unacceptable experience from start to finish. I booked a 7-seat full-size SUV through the website, and everything during the booking process clearly reflected that selection. However, when I received the voucher, it showed Alamo as the provider, so I contacted them directly to confirm the details. I had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with EconomyBookings, and I strongly advise others to think twice before booking with them. We reserved a car in advance at a very reasonable price. The booking clearly stated prepayment, free cancellation within 48 hours, and unlimited mileage. Everything seemed straightforward. We arrived at George Bush Intercontinental Airport two hours before our scheduled pickup time, where we were supposed to be met by a free shuttle to the rental location.
