I have had the pleasure of witnessing this beautiful lady progress to a wise, open hearted and insightful therapist. I would highly recommend her as a important step towards self awareness and love.
You don't have to be an artist to benefit from this therapy. It's very cathartic to express yourself through art... the mind just seems to flow better!
I never knew how beneficial Art Therapy could be until I had a session with Deirdrie in her beautiful art space. When I learnt that it’s the process of working with art materials and that I don’t need to be an artist as such I fell into a timeless space in my mind. When I finished the session I felt at ease with myself, proud of what I had made and keen to come again.
