Relaxing and enjoyable. For those who remember the old Takhini Hot Springs, it’s no longer the same. I’ll admit, there was a certain magic to its simplicity—the plywood divider in the pool and the stripped-down setup had its charm. OMG! If you've never been to a natural hot spring, this sets the bar high! Start at the top of the beautifully landscaped property of wooden buildings and scenic outdoor pools. Soak your way down from the hottest to cooler (but still hot) natural hot spring pools to get the full experience. Soak your cares away in a neck-deep Japanese ceramic tub (I could have stayed there until they closed!), relax in one of several saunas or the nap in the salt rooms on the contoured warm beds. $70.00 is steep considering they nickel and dime you with a $5 towel rental fee(extra money grab). Did not see anyone cleaning anything in the 90 mins I was there. Shower had a lot of hair all over and towels and cups left behind. There was also no hot water in shower I was using. If you want to charge that much do better 🤷🏻
The staff are very nice. No doubt about this. However, the entry showers are horrible. They ask you to shower before entry, which is great, but here is the thing. you push the button and the water comes out for exactly 8 seconds. If you have to shampoo you will need to push the button about 30 times. Then, there is no temperature control, so the water just gets hotter and hotter.
