I was there at the age of 16
I was a resident at eckerd youth challenge program I enjoy it.I had my ups and downs but I over came and was there about a year and 2 montha all I can say is if it was not for the program i would be sitting in prison right now
This place is corrupt and ruined years of my life. I was beaten by “counselors” then sent to juvenile detention for battery to cover up what they did. They had the police come 8 hours later after they rehearsed there side of the story. There was barely enough food on the table to get by. I remember the group fighting over who got what. Funny enough in the end my “charges” were dropped and I spent a month in jail for a cover up that the police believed over a kids word.
