This review is long overdue! My husband and I hired Echo as our birth photographer. We're first time parents but we knew we wanted to capture the first moments of holding our daughter when she was born. I was a little nervous about having a photographer in the room during my labor and delivery but Echo made me feel at ease and honestly blended into the surrounding seamlessly. Echo is a joy to be around. Her presence is warm, intuitive and creative. You can both see and feel the authenticity in her work. Echo was originally hired as my birth photographer but when our baby had some sudden medical conditions that made my birth team worried, we had to make the decision for her to come early. So, an original plan for a birth center birth turned into an emergency c-section and NICU stay. My husband and I had to completely switch gears so fast it was hard to keep a handle of things as it was happening. Taking time to think of what incredible compliments I could give Echo as my birth photographer is not easy so I would rather speak briefly on all of the wonderful things she provided to me before, during and after delivery.
