I stopped by because I was following up on a business lead. They used to do business with my company under previous owners. I introduced myself and offered my handshake because that’s what polite business people do. The guy didn’t reciprocate. Wouldn’t say his name, etc. It’s fine if you don’t want to do business but you don’t have to be rude. If you’re a sales company you should be nice to other salespeople even if they’re not a good fit for your business.
