It's a factory. They have been in business for a long time (1888 I believe). Not rundown but very tired looking. No AC or heat. Coworkers and managers were really nice and professional.
Terrible customer service, no one answers the phone. Cannot get technical questions answer. No wonder everything is moving to china, American companies have given up on customer service.
I've managed roughly 600-700 different suppliers in my career and Eberhard customer service ranks dead last. They don't even pretend to care about my business. Orders routinely ship months late, and even then I only get a partial quantity. By the time I get a full order delivered, it's typically 4-6 months past the original order confirmation date. I would not recommend incorporating one of thier products into your product. Customer service is terrible and products are never available. Now they want you to go to a distributor in the distributors want you to buy a high minimum. There are other manufactuerers out there.
