Today I found a 75 year old resident laying on the ground on Erie Rd dripping in sweat when it was 30 degrees Celsius still wearing a hospital band from a recent hospital stay due to a bad fall. I called Eastwood to confirm she was a resident and was advised she was and that she would be picked up. Finally Nigel arrived and thanked us for taking care of her and said he would take her home. Had a great experience with the staff of Eastwood Manor, we were visiting Crystal beach for the day and were a little lost. The staff helped point us in the right direction. It looks like a great property, it’s close to the beach and they have an amazing front porch, it was packed with residents who were enjoying the beautiful weather. The owner and staff were incredible, you could tell that they care and we appreciated their hospitality.

If I could give this place a zero star I would. Look into the regions inspection list. This home has failed all compliance in every aspect. The residents basic care is not being met. The hazards in this place are more than one could list in a review. When I attended this home there was a small fire brewing in a bucket on the porch due to cigarettes and what looked to be napkins. I couldn’t find any staff at all and I had to pick up bucket and place in the middle of the driveway to allow the rain to put out the fire! Thankful... read more
