I’m currently in the process of changing banks—and this experience is exactly why. After a $30 fee showed up on my account labeled as “Charter Spectrum” with no clear explanation, I contacted Spectrum, thinking the charge came from them. They confirmed it wasn’t, and even advised me to file a fraud claim. When I went to Eastman Credit Union, the representative I spoke with was dismissive of my concerns.
