It's not the people at this location, it's Eastern bank as a whole corporate. It sucks and I miss my harbor one. They really don't care about us the people. I have had more problems with Eastern bank in the short period of time they took over than I had in the 20 something years of being a harbor one customer. Worst bank I ever dealt with !
If you want to be made to feel like a criminal, open an account with Eastern Bank. I was a HarborOne customer for nearly 25 years. Since Eastern Bank took over, I have not at all enjoyed my experience with them. The only bright spot has been Marcus, the customer service representative, who has always been kind and professional. I've never had another bank require me to write what is essentially an affidavit over an unauthorized charge of less than $103.
