Great customer service
Harbor one customer of 20 years , eastern bank bought them and I couldn’t be more disappointed, I’ve been told 3 lies and 1 half lie…. So far. Was told my log in with harbor one app would work for several months and eventually I’d need to download a eastern bank app ( not true ) Was told all of my accounts would transfer seamlessly ( not true ) Was told I could lock in my current interest rate on my loan up to 3 times a year ( not true ) what they actually lock in is a completely different interest rate if you go from variab... read more
I had kind of a silly issue with my card I asked for assistance with today and the teller was super kind and helpful about it even though it quickly became clear that it was not on Eastern Bank’s end. He went to the ATM with me just in case there was something he could end up doing, (there wasn’t - I had locked my card and forgotten about it but didn’t realize until I was back in my car. I don't typically go to this branch because I live in another town nearby so I go to the one that is more local to me. I've had to visit this branch a couple of times as they do currency exchange. I called the morning of my visit to ensure they had Euros on hand and I gave them the amount I needed -- the woman who answered the phone said that they did and that it wasn't a problem; she even gave me the total that it would be in Euros -- I replied with a thank you so much - see you soon and hung up.
