I had the chance today to see what’s coming to the mall this summer, along with some of the deals they’re working on. I’m very excited about all the improvements planned for the next few months. One of the biggest upgrades—new air conditioning units—will start being installed next week!
Eastdale may be a smaller mall, but sometimes that’s exactly what makes it nice—especially for families and field trips. There are a few good stores to browse, but the food court really shines with some of the best food around! Another highlight is the ice skating rink, which is an absolute must-try. It adds so much fun to the experience and makes the visit extra memorable.
It can get very crowded, but that’s actually a good sign the mall is doing a great job bringing in customers. My tip: try to avoid weekends if you want a calmer visit. Weekdays are usually better, though you might run into some school groups—so it’s your call.
The best thing about this mall is definitely the huge Dillard’s Clearance Center. You’ll find clothes and shoes for the whole family marked down 35–60% off, with rotating extra discounts of 30%, 50%, and sometimes even up to 90%! Items are mostly organized by type, gender, and size, but with so much merchandise it can get a little mixed up.
