Very difficult process. After having two vehicles damaged and stolen, the secretary there (amanda) requested unnecessary/extra information in order to modify the account.

I left East Hartford over two years ago and legally changed my address, but my old landlord continues to receive bills and late fees in my name at my old address. I have contacted this office several times to try to resolve my unpaid extortion payments, but the employees at the extortion office have been rude and unhelpful. They have now resorted to threatening me with not allowing me to re-register my vehicle unless I continue to make extortion payments for an address I have not lived at in over two years.

Paid my car taxes only to find out that the town never did their part and the DMV was showing my registration as expired because I apparently hadn't paid my taxes. Found out when I went to buy a BRAND NEW CAR and they couldn't register it because of this mistake. Extorted by govt bureaus and they cant even do their job right.

Always double check and make sure after you pay taxes that they put it through, my car was unregistered for 6months after paying my taxes and all they could say was they're sorry smh.
