Great credit union but I do have a complaint. They refused to cash out 20+ year old paper savings bonds due to a discrepancy where the SSN on the front was my relative's, and didn't match my own. This is because they print the number of the relative who bought it for me if said relative does not know my number at time of purchase. Despite this, there are lines on the back for me to fill out for this specific scenario. This bank is one of the best, I'm a long time member, the staff is friendly and accommodating. I only wish they had more availability.

Shout out to Nick and Barbara at the East Hartford branch. Both deserve high praise recognition for going above and beyond helping with a problem that has been resolved finally!! I spent far too much time trying to understand a difficult situation with getting funds transferred and Nick and Barbara were both very determined and extremely supportive and helpful throughout my time there. Your dedication and commitment to me as a member for the past 25 plus years is truly appreciated! Thank you both for making a difference!!

Friendly and helpful staff; "small town bank" vibe. Excellent rates on loans and credit cards, low fees and no bogus maintenance fees. You should join if your eligible even if only to take advantage of the rates.
