This center has been wonderful from the beginning. I was very nervous about putting my son in daycare at 4 months old. They let me tour the center and ask questions not once but TWICE. They were very kind and caring when I started dropping him off, as it was very difficult for me. They address any questions or concerns that I have with respect and kindness and are very receptive. KinderCare at 141st St. in Fisher has been a blessing. I truly feel like it’s more than Day Care for my almost 2 y/o. My daughter comes home with new knowledge every day. When I was touring the place I mentioned that my daughter might be bored in the room that they were showing me initially and they had no hesitation to move her up into a room that seemed more suitable for her - Of which I appreciated so much. I have really enjoyed the beginning of our childcare journey with this KinderCare location. I like that so many of the employees in this center have been with KinderCare such a long time. They all very quickly got to know both me and my baby and seem to genuinely care about us both. It gives me peace of mind knowing my six month old is excited to see the people that care for her each day.
I do not recommend this daycare based on an experience that was extremely upsetting and concerning to me. My daughter was only 3 months old when I picked her up early one day and witnessed an employee put my baby’s pacifier in her own mouth before she was going give it back to my daughter. I have no way of knowing whether this happened before I witnessed it or how long it may have been going on. As a parent, that is incredibly scary and upsetting. We have had our two girls here since our almost 4 year old was 3 months old! The staff is incredibly caring and communicative. Anytime there has been any sort of concern we have been able to openly discuss and resolve quickly. Our oldest is a bit shy and they’ve really worked with her to help her warm up. Our youngest was in the NICU when she was born and the center worked with us to save spots while we kept our girls home for a few months for her to build her immune system.
