What a wonderful place with many opportunities to find your people. There is a BIPOC group, LGBTQIA+ and 2S (Called alphabet sangha), there is a Maha Sangha where everyone is welcome, and even a group for self identified white folks. Also trans events, a group for parents, and an online-only meditation group for people with disabilities. All of the teachings are free at EBMC and based on gift economics. its great that if you are experiencing poverty you will still be able to come multiple days a week and have somewhere great... read more
