I had a very disappointing experience with Earth Mover Credit Union while trying to start a HELOC application. The customer service was far from professional. I was dealing with Jalisa, Janessa, and the so-called "mortgage department," though I never had direct contact with them as everything was funneled through Jalisa. They never proactively reached out to provide updates—I only received information when I took the initiative to email and call them. Their response was always a 24hr minimum.
