They used to have younger beautician that knows what they're doing, that cares about your comfort. Now I went back, it went significantly downhill. Massaging your lips (yes, my lips was covered with face lotions and stuff) and using congee spoon to massage your neck? Very questionable.
I typically refrain from leaving negative reviews, but my experience at this spa was exceptionally disappointing. Despite purchasing a package to support the business when they did not honor Groupon prices, my first session was extremely unsatisfactory. First saw they had a microdermabrasion deal on groupon, technician did a thorough job and face felt smooth and clean so afterwards when she sold me on a package of three for the same price as groupon I bought it. Made my appointment for 10:15am, arrived and the lady says oh you’re early, I showed her my email confirmation saying 10:15 she says ok your technician not here yet wait here, so I wait 15 min in the lobby, at 10:30 still nothing so I asked if I can just get a refund but the lady just says she’s on her way just wait... read more
The one stars make a lot of sense. Went here for first time to the minoru location with a Groupon. 1pm appointment she barely spoke to me and asked to wait outside anyways waited 15 mins past my scheduled appointment which I have 2 confirmations for 1pm and ended up leaving will be contacting groupon for a refund
