I came here to talk to a group of Stroke sufferers and their volunteers about being a Guide Dog puppy raiser. My Guide Dog puppy and myself were made very welcome and the place had a lovely calm atmosphere. Plenty of parking too.
I took my friend for a bite to eat. It is spacious which is great, but the music while nice it was too loud. The toasties left a lot to be desired. Pale thin white bread very little cheese and tomato, nice amount of salad. Hot chocolate was drinkable but that's it. Tea was ok. I went some yrs ago and it has really gone down in my estimation.
Great lifestyle for the retired Update. Very little improvement- Still no heating downstairs in the cafeteria for weeks on end. Exterior door at the back entrance still broken for circa 2 years, lifts to upper floors constantly out of order, carpark automatic gate still broken for over 12 months. Attended a class here and visited the restaurant for some very tasty fish and chips. Overall a very pleasant outing.
I visit here regularly with work (home visit opticians.) The lady at the front desk is always friendly and helpful. The flats all seem to be very well kept and the residents all seem happy. I don't know how much the flats cost or what the waiting list is like but it definitely feels like it would be a nice place to stay if you need assisted living.
