I purchased a switch 1 electric assist front wheel drive kit for my 17" diamond back response and I'm glad I did, I love the overall ease of install and the power performance. I installed the switch three kit on my tandem bike. I made a simple bracket to mount the battery to one of the three water bottle mounts on the bike. My wife and I are a senior couple so it makes the hills easier for us. I think it works great.
The kit is working out really well for me. It’s made it so much more fun to ride up in Mammoth where there is so much uphill riding against strong winds and high altitude. Also my bike is still light enough that I can enjoy riding without the assist. It wasn't hard to install and the company was very responsive when I needed some guidance. Great value for the money and much cheaper than buying an E-bike.
