DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! This site did a background check on me last year. Claimed that I had multiple felonies including kidnapping, assault on a minor child, etc., which was totally bull---t. When you read the report, there were 5 different felonies reported, all with men with the same first and last name, but different middle names, and all the men were black ( I am caucasian) and they ranged in size from 5'8" to 6'1" and 267 lbs! This "service" screams SCAM. They are incredibly quick to take your money, then take their sweet time sending reports - if they send them at all. Try emailing them, and you will be met with such incredible stupidity that it simply has to be contrived or deliberate, because no one that slow could actually live for 24 hours without a caretaker (I could post actual quotes from their emails, and they would look like someone made them up to try to be funny in a sick sort of way). Avoid this service. When you're about to make a payment, the website reveals that you won't receive the tenant's actual credit score. Instead, you'll receive a congratulatory message if the tenant meets or exceeds the credit score range you selected. So, if you choose a range of 500-800, it will only inform you that the score falls within that range. This makes the service quite unhelpful.
E-renter was fantastic for screening a tenant for a home rental. They were reasonably priced, and the customer service was outstanding when we needed help. We made a mistake in typing in the SS#, which led to a confusing report. We called and they answered immediately, helped us understand the mistake was a typo, and re-ran a report, waiving the fee despite the fact it was my error. They also helped us understand one of the results regarding a court case. Absolutely could not be happier with e-renter and highly recommend!
