The people who work there are so helpful and friendly! I started as a young person watching my parents’ having good things to say about ECCU. They helped me finance my first student car and some of my community college expenses. I still go to them first for my day-to-day basics and to save on the bigger items! I'm editing my previous review below, which I should have completed sooner than day. Since my original posting regarding E Central Credit Union, once the Credit Union was made aware of my issues with my accounts, they worked very deliberately and diligently to correct the internal issues, processes and systems. My accounts were personally monitored, corrected, and confirmed working in it's original format across my account membership. E Central Federal Credit Union (FCU) is a shared services branch which means you can transact certain business here even if you're not a member of E Central, but are a member of another FCU in another state. The staff here at E Central FCU were very helpful when I went in to deposit a check into my account in another FCU in another state. The transaction was done with skill by the teller, and took under five minutes.
I opened a new checking account with this FCU, because I thought it would be very easy transition. It was until it wasn't. Some hotshot did some internal audit of my newly open checking account, created a new checking account I did not authorize and completely messed up both checking accounts. Ny money was moved, money was taken from my savings to cover overdraft withdrawals that should have never been overdrafted because sufficient money was in the original checking account set up in May'26.
