I cannot say enough good things about The Duxbury House. From the moment my aunt and uncle walked in, they felt at home and we felt such an incredible sense of comfort. The staff is incredibly compassionate, well-trained, and welcoming, from Deb the receptionist to Mary the Facility Manager. They all know each resident by name and treat them with the utmost patience, respect and dignity. Our dear sister, Annie Donovan, was the first resident at the Duxbury House where she spent the last four years of her life. We could not have hoped for anything better for Annie. The staff treated her with such love and respect and their care was first rate. The facility is immaculate and the food is restaurant quality. The residents are busy and entertained throughout the day by both the staff and volunteers. Moving your loved one into memory care is a difficult decision and an emotional process.
