I had an awesome experience today at Dury’s Guns. I’m headed to a dove hunt tomorrow and needed a reliable shotgun. I walked in with a hand-me-down shotgun I got from my dad. I had completely disassembled it and I needed some help from a qualified gunsmith. The gunsmith (Larry) was extremely knowledgeable and gave me the honest advice I needed to hear- I’d be better off getting a different gun. Outstanding experience at Dury’s Gun Shop! Jay was extremely helpful and took the time to show us a variety of guns, answering all our questions along the way. Luis went above and beyond, he didn’t just sell me on safety, he taught it. He took time to explain the ethics of handling and shooting a gun and even walked me through everything from proper loading to stance. First time walking into a Durya gun shop! As a Canadian , we didn't know what the heck we were doing! Then Bob came around and educated us on each weapon we got to see and hold. He was very polite and extremely knowledgeable! I would highly recommend anyone who's looking to purchase a firearm to go see Bob and Dury's gun shop!
I have shopped at almost every gun store in San Antonio and a few in Austin and a few in Corpus Christi. By far, Dury's Gun Shop in San Antonio is outstanding. The pricing was best of all shops.
