So I went to drop my son off at school and out in front of West junior high on W. Salt Creek Dr. a few feet from the school entrance. There was a bus parked. At first, I thought maybe they were about to turn on their flashers and stop sign but that never happened. Then there was a vehicle coming in the opposite direction and even though there was probably plenty of room I waited for that vehicle to pass and once they did, I could see kids getting off the bus. Today’s pickup experience was unacceptable. The bus arrived 15 minutes earlier than the scheduled time, then marked the stop as “attempted” and called me once. I never received the call, and with the volume of spam calls I get daily, a single call attempt is not a reliable contact method. When they showed back up at the scheduled time, staff acted as if I was the one causing the issue. The safety and welfare of children does not exsist with this company. Their screening process for drivers is little to nothing. As long as you're not color blind, ( you can see red, green, yellow) for traffic lights you can work here. Schedules are a suggestion at best. As a parent your worse nightmare is getting a vague text from an app saying" your child's bus is returning to school and authorities are on the way." This happened at 415 pm.
