Durham is lucky to have a food co-op and this one is wonderful!
Favorite place to shop for fruit, veg, and some other products. Service is great and it's usually much quieter and less chaotic than HT or WF. They have a reputation for being expensive, but I think that's because people might not look closely at all their products. Amazing customer service! The co-op was willing to stay open a little later for me on July 4 when I called ahead. Not only were they accommodating me but other last-minute shoppers by staying open a bit past their scheduled closing time. On a holiday! That was just so thoughtful to help us out when the employees really did not have to. They also did it again today when I pulled in right as they were closing, and they were so kind about it!
