In my experience Katherine was unable to produce evidence that I had given my consent for bulk billing to be performed under my name. I was told that I was paying privately for cannabis prescriptions and was reassured that no rebates were available as Medicare was not involved in private, cannabis-related appointments. My experience with Dr Katherine was extremely disappointing. After my consultation, she prescribed a medication. When I went to the pharmacy, the exact brand was not in stock. The pharmacist suggested an equivalent alternative that was available and simply asked me to confirm with the doctor that it would be acceptable. I emailed Dr Katherine to ask if she could approve the alternative brand. She did not reply. I called Katherine to complain about a misunderstanding, to my surprise I was accused of being rude, abusive, harassing her and that I’m screaming at her. I was just talking calmly and trying to explain my point of view as well as trying to resolve the issue. Im only 18 years old, just trying to voice my concerns and I was made to feel like a monster.
