We have banked with DCCU over 10 years and had a couple of issues, once with the bill pay service (which DCCU would not assist at all with), a couple of minor things, none a big deal. I don't go in the bank much but seems to always be different people working but usually very courteous. This issue seems slight, but it has done it for me, switching to another local bank I recordered checks (which I may have done maybe twice over 10 years but always in the bank) using the online banking website and was charged for checks. I left Truist after 24 years. Their merger with BB&T and closing all of their locations made it difficult to go into a branch and get waited on in a timely manner. I didn't realize the difference between a credit union and a bank. A credit union gives you money and a bank takes your money. I have auto loans with Dupont as their interest rates are the cheapest around. They're checking account helps you grow money. No fees! I called earlier this week specifically to find out if the DuPont community credit Union Bank in Lexington was going to be open on Friday. I was told they were. I needed to get a cashiers check and I’m only back in town through the weekend. The doors are locked. I called the number for the credit union and it said the branches would be open on Saturday.
