The Dunmore Candy Kitchen has been a stalwart of Dunmore Community since 1904. After the original owners passed away in the 1960s, employees of the store were offered two options: Take some money or take the name of the store. Mr. Louis Perella, a long time employee of the candy store, took the name and thus, started a family's love affair with chocolate. First of all the candy is first rate! Very very good! The pricing is on par with other businesses like this. The original Dunmore location is pretty small, but they do attend to their customers very quickly. Do expect a bit of a wait during popular candy buying holidays.
Love this place! Just picked up some Valentine's day goodies. The chocolate covered Swedish fish and chocolate covered orange peels are some of our favorites.
The best chocolate in the world and very addicting, too. Worth the trip. They have so many types of chocolate molds/shapes to choose from. Highly recommended
