Dunkley These guys are alright. I wouldn't say they are the best. They don't rent the top of the line brands so you find your self going in for repairs more often.
Still going strong after 40 years in business! This is the place to go for musical instruments. Whatever your child wants to learn to play, they have it in stock or they can order it. They can tell you who is a good private teacher and they sell sheet music and also do rentals, because your daughter may like flute this week and want to give the violin a try next week.
Dunkley Music – I went to Dunkley to inquire about repairing an instrument for my child. I found their techs to be both very helpful and personable. I was concerned going I would be told that the instrument would be too old and I would be better off buying a new one. The gentleman looked over the instrument and suggested what needed to be repaired. uh huh – Went for sheet music. Looking at selection was severely disappointed, most was from a certain composer that most serious players of my instrument tend to have learned pieces by and moved on. Luckily they carried the publisher I needed (Master or Master's music pub) so I could order it, but it took a bit longer than the promised 2 weeks.
