Dunklau had some very considerate and kind aides and we're clean. However the nursing staff was inconsiderate, rude, and harmful. One nurse rudely explained that she would not let my husband sit in his chair because the chair alarm went off one time. He had a persistent nose bleed that was passed off as his gums bleeding from dentures. Nurse said he couldn't use his dentures. He had blood building up in his body which caused him to be difficult to wake up. Nurse did not check on him, and did not give medication as ordered. H... read more
My Dad was admitted into hospice at Dunklau, the care was wonderful for my dad and even family. They explained everything. Staff turned him often, meds were given on time, he was kept clean and dry. I can't say enough, Thank you for the care and compassion he received. LaRue
