Do not let them do your loved ones laundry!!! Since the end of February, I have taken my mom 10 outfits and 4 gowns. I am now able to do her laundry but she only has 4 shirts, 5 pants and 1 gown left. I have informed staff of this multiple times and nothing has been found or done. All of her clothes are clearly labeled. Clothes are not cheap!!!

I just want to brag on Dunbar Centers Guest Services director Erica and Rory their social worker. From day one any questions we have had these two have gone above and beyond to help us navigate this time. I have family at Dunbar and these two are hands down amazing. We have used other centers for several members of our family and Dunbar takes the cake! The facility is warm and welcoming. Staff is friendly and the building is clean! I am so thankful my family member is taken care of when I can’t be there.

This is best facility I have ever seen, my wife’s Mother was admitted there and it certainly changed my mind about nursing homes. The entire time she was there she was very happy and made many friends. The center had excellent programs and activities to keep all the residents busy. They even had a “ Prom” night and everyone dressed up for the event and attire for the residents were provided by the Dunbar Center.she had a great roommate and was so very happy there. Great experience at the Dunbar Center! The business manager, Samantha Parsons, did an outstanding job navigating my mother from Kaiser Permanente (California insurance) onto Medicaid and all other aspects of her move to WV. Very helpful in transitioning her to her long term stay. All around great staff and experience.
