I’m assuming this was the location that came to pick me up in Brooklyn. I moved from Brooklyn to upper West side, and these movers made everything so easy! It was also affordable which made it easier to tip better! The move was very early in the morning, they were very professional and nice when I interacted with them. Used this service to help a friend moved. And they did such a poor job. They wasted 30 minutes just huffing and puffing and complaining when there job is to assist moving. We had to ask them if they wanted us to start loading the trucks with the way they were just standing around. My friend was at the other apt waiting to receive them she tipped them and they had the audacity to snatch it from here. Had a very pleasant moving experience with Dumbo Moving + Storage. Truck 26 helped me with my move from Brooklyn to Queens for about 6 hours. They provide you with all of the essentials you may need. Staff and management is incredibly friendly and willing to help you. I would move with them again!
If you’re reading this considering whether or not you should book with Dumbo, please close this window and book with another moving company. Dumbo was an absolute nightmare to work with. The day before I moved, I got a confirmation email with the wrong time. When I finally spoke to somebody on the phone, he said they “thought they might do my move earlier.” You can’t just change somebody’s reservation without asking.
