Just a tip , if you want to paint over exposed timber beams that have been previously coated with polyurethane varnish use DULUX PRECISION HIGH OPACITY STAIN BLOCKER. It oil based and you can coat over it with water based paint eg beams and ceiling re coat. I wasted time and money with other products and advice. Went to Dulux Maroochydore and purchased this product and now I'm back on track to finish my ceiling. Thanks to the team at Maroochydore Dulux.
