My grandmother was transferred to Dufferin from Victoria to receive end-of-life care and to be closer to her family. What we found there was far more than exceptional medical care; we found compassion, dignity, and kindness during one of the most difficult times of our lives. My mother was a resident of Dufferin for 3 years. Dufferin wasn't our first choice due to the age of the facility and we had planned on moving our mom once a bed in a newer home opened up. However, the staff were so caring and supportive, that my mom decided she did not want to leave Dufferin a few months later when she was offered a room in a newer home. Her family are very thankful for the wonderful staff and care received at Dufferin.

Giving one star because of the lack of available parking. Wanted to visit a friend but there was no parking available.

My mom’s been at dufferin place for almost a year now. The staff are fabulous. She is well treated and cared for. I would highly recommend this care facility.
