Today was my first time trying Duck Donuts! The place was busy but I was greeted right away, which was really nice! I even noticed the effort to greet every customer who came in. The woman making my donuts even let me know she accidentally gave me a double in my order and offered to fix it and make me another donut. It was really nice for her to even mention it and offer to re-make it for me- despite being busy. I really appreciated that concern and customer service! 10/10! The first time I tried duck donut, I didn't like it. I remembered it was kinda dry, not doughy and fluffy like a typical doughnut. But this time, it is pretty good. I would say the texture is still a bit different from a normal one, seems a bit denser, but it is not dry. I like how they start doing the topping after customers order, so the chocolate is kinda warm and it feels fresh.
Over rated
The Owner, I assume it was him, welcomed each patron that walked through the door. It was not too busy when I first arrived. As he was filling my dozen donut order, he didn't get overwhelmed as the store got crowded. I was very impressed with his professionalism and the care he took with each order. I would definitely go back!!
Seems to be under new management. Definitely not the same anymore
