I had cataract operations in March of this year. Overall it was a very poor experience.. I felt like fodder to boost the surgeon's income. My first disquiet came prior to my first operation. It turned out that the prescription for my eyes had been taken from the glasses I was wearing. I recently had a heart procedure at The Duchy Hospital. I would like to thank all the professional Medical and Ambulatory teams for looking after me so professionally. I was made to feel relaxed and comfortable. The detailed medial information provided was carefully provided.

I've just been for a knee arthroscopy procedure under general anaesthetic and can't rate this hospital highly enough. All the staff in the ACU and Theatre, as well as those in reception and physio, were brilliant. I received such kindness and consideration for privacy; kept informed all the time; and there were frequent checks to make sure it was the right patient with the right procedure - so I felt confident that there was a high level of professionalism in the unit. I received one of these trumpt up parking fines WHICH I WILL NOT BE PAYING FOR £100. The cheek of it! Since my last visit several years ago they have moved all the access roads. There does not appear to be any signage to show the way. I stopped several times trying to guage where I was and ask people for drirections. At one point I needed to reverse and lo and behold the picture of my car shows me reversing.
