DUCA is notorious for putting long holds on transferred cash. For example, they always put an EIGHT DAY hold on ME-TO-ME transfers. This is insane because in this modern era of banking, they can verify funds instantly from the sending bank. What are they doing with the funds for EIGHT DAYS--they are profiting from it! They will give you no explanation other that "It's our policy!"

DO NOT use this bank, avoid them at all costs. This has been the worst banking experience I have ever had. Even though my mortgage was fully paid off and closed, the discharge was never properly registered on the land title, and after more than three years they are still showing on title. My experience at this DUCA were consistently frustrating. The staff are rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful when basic assistance was needed. On top of that, the branch felt disorganized. Simple requests took far longer than they should have, and there was no sense that anyone was in control of the workflow or customer experience. Frankly, the existing reviews tell the story. Discriminatory and Unprofessional Experience I came to this branch simply to open a basic bank account, and was shocked by how I was treated. The staff named "JESSICA WU" refused to help me just because I don’t speak fluent English. Instead of trying to communicate patiently or offering any assistance, they turned me away without even explaining proper alternatives.
