My uncle passed away on December 2, 2021 and I called the local representative for New York Life, Thomas Drynan, on December 9, 2021 to inform him of the death (which was never marked on his account from this phone call) and mentioned how I would not be taking the money out as I didn't need it and was making sure that was okay and that there was no deadline to claim the funds.
