I come to Maine Grain for their non gmo organic feed, then we stay for lunch...ohhhh, the sourdough is sooo very yummy
The oats I bought here once were rancid. Also, I remember asking them what kind of mill they used to produce their flour, and they instead said that I could come up to Maine for a multi-day workshop for a few hundred bucks. Only then could I have that precious information. Pity -- could be something great !
I was recently gifted a 4 lb. bag of organic rolled oats (purple and brown packaging). It was from a brand I wasn't familiar with, but I enjoy oatmeal in the mornings, so I decided to give these a try. I mixed them in a 5:2 ratio and added raisins, dates, and cranberries.
