I came to Onward for knee pain that started while weightlifting and was persistent for several months. Meredith took the time to both understand the injury and what I was hoping to get out of PT. Over four sessions, she helped me entirely fix the pain (identifying the imbalances in strength and flexibility causing the pain) and developed weekly plans for me so that I could do the sports and activities I wanted to do pain-free. I am so glad my wife told me about Onward. I have gone to PT numerous times for lower back pain and it has not helped. The one on one focus was crucial to getting me better. Lindsey gives me specific work to continue in between sessions which keeps me engaged in my progress. I am now able to run and lift weights again! Highly recommend if you want to get better!
As a first time mom, I visited Meredith early in my second trimester to feel comfortable training through pregnancy and preparing for birth. Meredith was so warm and knowledgeable - helping to clear some anxieties and give exercises to improve mobility/core strength (targeting my specifics gaps). I’m really looking forward to coming back closer to birth and feel a lot more confident staying strong and active during pregnancy!
Lindsey is the 3rd PT in I’ve seen for my back pain in 7 years, and she is the only one who has been able to help me improve it. She takes my physically challenging job and fitness goals into account to make a plan for treatment, and aims to fix the root of the problem instead of just alleviating symptoms. Onward is a clean and welcoming environment, and the espresso is great!
Very thorough, personalized, and thoughtful treatment and support. Anyone who has someone like this helping them manage their body's functionality is very lucky.
