I usually have no issues with take 5 but I went to the location at 2405 Holloway St in Durham, NC. They took almost 45 minutes and the next morning my check engine light was on. Instead of checking my car to see if it was done improperly, they hooked up a scanner and gave me the codes. Now I have to take my car to a mechanic and their mistake will cost me more money. The manager apologized and said he hopes I return instead of rectifying it. What a terrible manager.
Their technicians didn't replace my oil valve correctly resulting in $300 worth of damage. When I applied for compensation they deniedy claim because I didn't have a picture of the damage. I had to get the problem fixed immediately, I can't crawl under the car, and their technician told me he would start the process. I won't go to any Take 5 business again.
Customer service is horrible. They FALSLEY advertise that you can cancel your Take 5 car wash "at any time". We are over a month into the cancelation process and they are refusing to cancel. They even have in our file that we filled out their form. Now we are having to get the card company involved to put stop payments on the transactions.
I joined the new Take 5 car wash in Jeffersonville IN in October, shortly after I added another car to my plan. One of the passes that I was paying did not work, when I asked for them to correct it the manager told me the only way to get a new pass was to pay for another one. I pointed out that I was already paying for 2 she said she didn't have any control over that. My SUV was damaged from the conveyor line shutting down at the tire shine area. From reading previous reviews I’m not the only person to experience this and having the same results. YOUR AT FAULT! Once the conveyor line was started my vehicle and the vehicle behind bumped which did damage to my bumper. Jeff from the company said I was at fault.
