Beware of Drive in Hawaii: Unsafe Vehicles and Terrible Customer Service My husband rented a van from Drive in Hawaii through Turo for our trip to Kona, Hawaii. Everything seemed fine until our front right tire popped. To our shock, the spare tire was also flat. We went to a Goodyear store, hoping for a more permanent fix. This was my first time using Turo and glad to report renting through Turo and using a car from Drive In Hawaii was easy and stress free. The car was great, clean and very fuel efficient (around 33 mpg). We received the car an hour earlier than planned because our flight arrived in Kona and hour earlier than when we booked the car. We were able to pick up the car at the airport an hour early as the car was their and ready to go after we did the checkin procedure for the car. I highly recommend this place, the workers are super nice, the place is really clean from the inside out, same with with cars , the cars are really nice and clean. Very good customer service.
