Amazing experience and so easy! Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting skagway. Zero crowds. Got to go at our own pace. The car was exactly as advertised. Check in and check out was simple! Get out there and explore the beauty!!!

The service was great, and the host was very helpful and responsive. Self-check-in and check-out were smooth, with clear instructions throughout. My only concern was the vehicle itself. The Subaru Tribeca listing didn't mention that it was an older, high-mileage car (over 200,000 miles). For what we paid, I expected a newer car. It had several dents and scratches, no GPS, and no port to charge or connect that we can use. I pointed out the existing damage before leaving to avoid any charges, and it was acknowledged. If you want to rent a car in Skagway, I highly recommend this service. It's owned by a wonderful, kind couple who always responded quickly to our questions and did the most amazing job, making sure every detail was taken care of! The instructions were crystal clear, the vehicle was in the exact place it was supposed to be in, it was very clean, well maintained and had a nice trash bag for us to put things in afterwards as there were no trash cans near the lot. We rented a Honda Pilot from Drive About Car Rental on 05/24/2026. The pick up process was so easy and clear. The car was clean, and we had zero issues with it during our drive. We drove to Emerald Lake and back with many beautiful stops along the way. The drop off process was just as easy as pickup. We are so happy we found this company to rent from. The owners are super nice, have quick response times, and keep their cars in excellent shape. Thanks for the great rental!

Would recommend both the service and experience! Super easy to deal with, very helpful and clear with insurance and pick up instructions. We visited as part of a cruise and couldn’t have been easier. We did the Klondike highway down to Carcross, and the Honda was a noble steed! Little bit of a tip if you do the same trip, we drove down without stopping at the popular spots, Yucon bridge, photo spots etc, then stopped on the way back up after lunch in Carcross, that way the cruise tours moved on!
