The reservation process was easy enough and communication was mostly good prior to our arrival. The car was easy to find once we got off of our cruise ship. The car was an 18 year old Subaru with 195,000 miles. I drive older cars, so this wasn't much of a concern for me. My main concern came a couple of hours later. We had driven approx 75 miles and were in Carcross, Yukon when the check engine light came on. I rented a car here during my cruise trip to Skagway, Alaska, and had an excellent experience. The booking process was very clear, comprehensive, and detailed, which made everything easy to arrange. The car itself was well maintained. The owner is extremely kind and helpful. After I checked out, I realized I had left some personal items in the car. Great car rental business. They’re quick to reply to emails, they’re affordable, there’s a wide variety of vehicles to choose from, they parked the vehicle right next to my cruise ship, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Highly recommend Drive About Car Rental!

We really loved our rental with Ann and Steve. We rented one of their older cars and we had no issues. We took the car into the Yukon and had a blast. I was able to call Ann when I had a question and she answered and responded promptly!

Picking up and returning the vehicle was super convenient. The vehicle drove well and there were no problems. Communications with owners was very good.
