Don’t believe what you see in the internet. Is a ripoff. Every single item you see is not available. I showed the helper in the store, several dresses I saw in their “formal” menu and her answer was that they don’t have that anymore. Of course, they now serve a South Asian community with their culture dresses. And they also sell toys. Not the store they pretend to be online. UPDATE JULY 12, 2024: Since I don't live in Brampton anymore, I had assumed that this Dress People store had closed permanently. But, I just thought I'd check online anyway. Surprise! They seem to be open for regular business! It makes me wonder if they had announced that they were closing permanently because they just wanted to get rid of slow-moving inventory to make way for new stock. Of course, it is very important to buy your wedding dress from a store with a strong reputation for providing the very best. A store that is there for you, including the location being open well past the time of your wedding. Where are brides-to-be who live in Brampton supposed to shop for wedding dresses? Brampton has a large population. I just don't understand.
I'm delighted that this store is closing permanently because they totally ruined my daughter's wedding gown years back that she had purchased from this store. Long story. Very painful. My daughter is still upset about it. No wonder. I'm upset, too.
