dreamtree project is a beautiful place. the thing they do that majority of other places similar don't do in the world is prioritize the children's feelings and voice above all else, they understand when they are hurt. the only reason something would go wrong is if the child is not taking advantage of the shelter's oppertunities or committing behavoral issues caused by their original homes where they were never taught better, and learned dangerous things. this is a shelter, no kid is brought here expected to be a perfect ange... read more
This has to be the worst company on this earth. I’ve never seen such an establishment that has such horrible staff such horrible security. I’ve never seen anything like this place in my life. I think this place should be shut down and all the staff should go back to school because they don’t even know how to do their job.
Worst Place for a 13 year old suicidal kid. Rude staff encouraging my son to be disrespectful. They allow him to sneak in weed pens. They allow him to escape twice and threaten to discharge him knowing he is at high risk of hurting himself. Won't make him log on to School virtually. Judge and accuse me of doing drugs having no proof of the allegations. Doesn't want my son to leave the shelter because they are collecting money from his insurance everyday that he is there. My brother ran away from home so he was places at dream tree shelter taos NM a few weeks ago. The staff is unprofessional rude and helpless. They lie, allow drugs in the shelter and use kids insurance for money. They do nothing to show life skills, respect or morals in today's world. My brother left the shelter 2 weeks ago and is more messed up than when he was before Dream Tree Shelter.
