Do not work for Drake they lack integrity. They will misinform you in an effort to avoid paying you a month worth of wages. They will also ask you to work outside your shift hours without pay.

I've used Drake as a self employed preparer since 2015, only prior software was lacerte. Drake was cheap, but awkward to navigate (copy/past commands don't work, bad user interface), but the price made it palatable, and customer service was US based and great (in 2015). I've only used customer service once or twice in the past 9 years until today, and oh boy it has changed. I cancelled my service for a refund in January before tax season started. Refund was processed on Jan 18, check was mailed out until Feb 8. Still haven't received it and its April 11. This has been a difficult and very professional experience.

Our office has been using Drake for over 15 years and we have never had a question that wasn't resolved with a quick phone call. Customer service is second to none. Quick response, polite and knowledgeable.
