I recently moved to Fort Collins and was interested in a bike to ride around town. Eric was incredibly kind and helped me make an educated purchase when I haven’t owned a bike since I was a kid. He fitted the bike I was interested in and let me test it in the parking lot, then helped me find the perfect helmet. Highly recommend stopping in here for any and all bike needs and I will definitely be back in the future!
I was stuck in Fort Collins for a couple days longer than expected due to bad weather back home and during this time I hopped online to shop around for a local bike shop who had some gravel bikes in stock. After checking inventory at REI they were my first stop, which was a mistake. I spoke with one of their staff about gravel bikes and he was beyond lethargic and basically told me the only bike they had in stock my size wasn't very good, was old new stock and the components were bottom tier - and this was their house brand... read more
Woke up this morning with a flat tire on my bike. Pumped it up and rode to Drake Cycles as it was the closest shop. Got there before they opened. Sat outside waiting till opening and was thrilled that right on time they opened. As I did not have an appointment I was not sure they would be able to help me. I told August exactly what I needed and he took my bike bac, it seemed like no time at all and it was done. I was in town for work, and I had an opportunity to ride, so I rented a mnt bike from Drakes and had an awesome experience. Not like the hills of East Tennessee, but definitely just as beautiful. Nice shop and some really nice employees. I highly recommend them.
Extremely helpful, knowledgeable, tolerant and kind staff. Great prices too for every level of experience. I would give them 10 out of 5 stars if I could. GO HERE!!
