Please see edit below after original comment. Generally good tuneup I guess. Asked for a kickstand install, the intake kid said yes, but it didn’t happen. Bike went in with 2 full tires, almost got returned with one flat. That one was fixed in shop. Left arm of front brake had a screw broken off, so it can’t be adjusted. In the past, the shop has called me to approve a replacement. This time they just turned the bike back to us, explaining in shop why the front brake is not operating well. Had an excellent service experience with Drake Cycles. I have a 2015 Trek Crossrip Comp that needed some drivetrain work. 3x8 originally, but the chainrings were shot, and unfortunately a matching chainset is nearly impossible to find (other bike shops have said the same). August and company at Drake did a lot of work putting together a quote for a completely new drivetrain, now a 2x10. As a first time customer, I was very pleasantly surprised. Great customer service. Assembled and delivered my bike on the date promised. Very friendly. Reasonable on the costs. Suggested a few things to think about for the rides in Colorado. Will go back there for all future needs
Wonderful, professional, fast, and friendly service! They 'de-Unbounded' my Siegla after a very muddy and gritty ride, getting it in working order again, ahead of a long summer of training and events!
Really kind bunch over here! Thought I needed a new tube on my wheel but they kindly showed me that my slightly bent presta valve still functioned a-ok. After filling my tire up for me and giving me some tips moving forward, they sent me on my way at no charge.
