This lodge was built to replace an aging building that had served the community of Fort Saskatchewan for almost 40 years. Opened in spring of 2015, this steel and concrete structure is designed to meet the requirements for LEED certification, and features the latest in modern design and function. The lodge provides a high quality of life in a caring and friendly manner to seniors 65 years of age or older who are active and functionally independent.

When it comes to compassion, empathy, and a complete understanding with family members introducing another family member to this lodge you only need to meet Alexandrea Mintenko. She is the Asst Manager of Resident Services. Sitting with her is so amazingly comfortable. Her details of Lodge living is first hand. Time to answer any and all questions and I guarantee you won’t meet a more loving and kind person. It’s a great lodge as well
My grandmother moved in last February. She has dementia and has a hard time accepting her new home. But the staff are very friendly and warm. There's so many daily activities to keep them entertained, although my granny hasnt really wanted to try any. Its nice the other residents have those options. The room she has is very small but it is nice, big bathroom and little kitchen for the little things she needs. I've heard there are bigger rooms though. Thoughtful staff. Nice rooms. Engaging activities. You can feel that they care. Appreciate that they are not for profit.
I called to ask for someone, woman on phone was very unprofessional and hung up immediately.
We just moved my mother into this relatively new and lovely seniors' lodge. First, I appreciate that it is a non-profit housing organization for our elderly as we have been down the other road and after touring several non-profits we could immediately see the comparison to the for profits which have some negatives.
