Dr Afrooz saved my life, I first encountered her in Dr Fishmans office I Hagerstown... she lies tend to your symptoms and figures out what will work this was in 2008. This is not a magic bullet and you are better it takes months.. even up to a year!! Finally.. I could walk again after apt of antibiotics and supplements!!! I thank God for her!! She is amazing! I am now dealing with CoVid for the SECOND time!! Dr Afrooz is once again saving my life ??. Her office changed locales several times, once after the flooding in Elliot... read more
Dr. Afrooz treated me for Lyme and coinfections after two other doctors had not discovered all my infections. Dr. A. relentlessly tracked down all my infections and we eventually chose to go with a port and IV antibiotics. Dr. Afrooz is a brilliant, compassionate woman and, should the need occur, I would insist my family members work only with her.
I came to Dr. Afrooz in early 2020, with complete hope that she would heal my Lyme Disease. I was recommended by a Lyme patient who said she helped him I paid Dr. Afrooz a lot of money for nothing, as she knows very little about Lyme Disease. Her office is a disaster and she does not return calls or emails. What I am most upset over is the fact she lied to to me. I drove 45 minutes each way and she didn't have the IV that I chose, nor did she have the nurse there to access my port. Very dishonest doctor. Warning...don't wast... read more
Very disorganized office come a very confused and dishonest
Worst doctor I have ever seen. Unresponsive to calls, messages, and doesn't respond to communication from patient. It was a rip off to see Dr. Afrooz, she in unreachable. Office can never be reached for weeks!! Totally ridiculous. I found a doctor worth the time and money to see and it wasn't Dr. Afrooz. Please do yourself a favor and spare your health from worsening dealing with this stressful doctor. Stay away!
She saved my life. I was In a wheelchair and going blind due to Lyme Disease. No other doctors would help me. I’m back to 20/10 vision and back to normal now
Dr Afrooz is wonderful, compassionate and very knowledgeable. I trust her. So many doctors don’t spend any time getting to know you. She is exceptional in this regard and that is so important because most of us suffering with Lyme disease have been swept under the rug. She was always positive and flexible, making a treatment plan tailored just for me!
So smart, helpful and compassionate! Has ideas that are outside the box and actually help! Really treats each patient individually.
I cant rate the doctor but I can rate the operation. It took over 2 weeks for anyone to respond to get an appointment. After thinking about how long it took to get someone to respond, I cancelled and asked for my refund of 100 deposit. I was told it would take 3 to 5 business days. It has been double that and I have not received a refund. I had to dispute the charge with credit card company. Found a more responsive practice. Pity-Dr looked to be very good.
